Kayaking with seals and dolphins
Experience one of Namibia's most memorable marine adventures as you kayak through the calm waters of Walvis Bay alongside playful Cape fur seals. Surrounded by spectacular coastal scenery, this guided excursion offers a unique opportunity to encounter wildlife up close in their natural environment.
After a short boat transfer to the kayaking area near Pelican Point, you'll paddle through sheltered waters where curious seals often swim alongside the kayaks, leap through the water, and occasionally climb onto them. Along the way, you may also spot dolphins, flamingos, pelicans, cormorants, and a variety of other seabirds that inhabit the bay.
No previous kayaking experience is required, as experienced guides provide a full safety briefing, quality equipment, and instruction before setting out. The relaxed pace makes this activity suitable for beginners, families, and experienced paddlers alike.
